Jesse Lee Jones, 28 of Frakes, KY, left this world June 6, 2013 in Manchester Kentucky while working for the Air Evac Life Team as a Flight Nurse.

Jesse was born February 17, 1985 and raised in Frakes, Kentucky by his Grandparents Mac and Ruby Jones and his Father Eddie Gene Jones. He attended the Frakes Elementary grade school, and in 2003 he graduated Bell County High School. In 2007, Jesse graduated Southeast Kentucky Community Technical College as a Registered Nurse with an Associate’s Degree in Science. Jesse worked at the Pineville Hospital, and began to pursue a dream of becoming a flight nurse. Soon he became a part of the Air Evac Flight Team, based in Harlan, Kentucky, later transferring to Manchester, Kentucky.

Jesse is survived by: Paternal grandparents Mac and Ruby Jones. One son, Tyson Lee Jones, that he shared with his girlfriend Brittany Partin. His Father Eddie Gene Jones and Step-Mother “Pat” Patricia Maye Jones. One brother Wiley Gene Jones. Two Aunts, one he called “Sissy” Marty Michelle Jones Brown, and Debbie Sue Jones. Three Uncles, Billy Mac Jones, Samuel Dean Brown, and John Lee Collins.

Jesse had four cousins that were very close and special to him, Haley Dean Brown Lawson, Samuel Mac Brown, Coty Michelle Jones, and Casey Christine Jones, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kelly Partin Jr. presiding.

Music will be provided by: Cledith Jones, Mac Partin and Vanessa Dixon.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, at the Maiden Cemetery on Upper Laurel Fork at Frakes, KY where professional honors will be given at the gravesite.

Pallbearers will be: Samuel Brown, Derrick Bowman, James Brooks, James Lay, Sammy Foister, Christopher Stergil, and Larry Moore.
