OB-GYN specialist re-joins the ARH Women’s Health Center

MIDDLESBORO — Middlesboro ARH Hospital announces the return of Dr. Ramon H. Gonzalez, OB-GYN, to its medical staff. Dr. Gonzalez earned his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Dr. Gonzalez completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University Hospital, Puerto Rico Medical Center in San Juan, Puerto, Rico. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

“We are pleased that Dr. Gonzalez has re-joined our OB-GYN team,” said Middlesboro ARH Community CEO Michael Slusher. “He had previously practiced in Middlesboro before relocating his OB-GYN practice to Harlan ARH. We have persuaded Dr. Gonzalez to return to Middlesboro to provide services to the women in our tri-state community.”

Dr. Gonzalez is still seeing patients in his Harlan office. When he is in Middlesboro, patients can see Dr. Gonzalez at the Women’s Health Center located in the APEX Medical Building at 2004 Cumberland Avenue in downtown Middlesboro.
