MIRACLE — Hobert Claude Arp, Sr., 80 of Miracle, KY., passed away Friday October 18, 2013 at his home. He was born Aug. 16, 1933 at Epworth, GA. A son of the late Hobert and Ola Thompson Arp. He was a member of the Binghamtown Baptist Church and the Bell Co. Volunteer Fire Dept. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a host of brothers and sisters.
Survivors Include: Wife: Billie Arp of Miracle, KY. Sons: Hobert (Sandra) Arp, Jr. of Woodbridge, VA., Ronald Arp of South Gate, MI., John (Shelly) Arp of Texas; Daughters: Julia (Matt) Galloway of Carlton, MI., Mary (Ted) Hudzick of South Gate, MI., Karen Havenstein of Des Moines, IA. 10 Grandchildren and 1 Great Granddaughter. Special Friend: Nancy Wilder of Miracle, KY.
Funeral services will be held at 8 pm Monday at the Binghamtown Baptist Church with Dr. William Boyd Bingham, Garry Bingham and Rev. Mike Welch presiding. Music will be provided by the Binghamtown Choir, Bill Durham and Thomasa Risner. Interment will be at the Michigan Memorial Park at Flat Rock, MI. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Amedysis Home Health, Brenda Carey, and Dr. Steve Morgan. The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm Monday at the Binghamtown Baptist Church.
