PRESTONSBURG — A Johnson County man being held in the Floyd County Detention Center faces more trouble, after reportedly attacking another inmate in the jail.

Christopher Jason Skeens, 31, of Hager Hill, allegedly struck another inmate, David Crace, of Prestonsburg, last November, while they were both being held at the jail. Crace’s jaw was broken in four places as a result of the attack, and he had to have surgery afterwards.

Skeens now faces a charge of second-degree assault, which is a felony.

Skeens continues to be held on a $10,000 cash bond.
