4-H Forestry Project completed

Photo submittedThe Bell County 4-H Community Club met July 19 to mount leaves they collected in June. 4-H’ers collected, pressed and identified their leaves in June and kept them in a leaf press to dry for one month. Leaves were mounted to cardstock and will attach the identifying label to each leaf. Each 4-H member can enter their leaf collection in the Bell County Fair on Aug. 6. The 4-H leader for the 4-H Forestry Project was Stacy White, Bell County Extension agent for agriculture and natural resources.

Nurse anesthesia concentration receives continued accreditation

HARROGATE, Tenn. — The Caylor School of Nursing (CSON) at Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) nurse anesthesia concentration has received continued accreditation from the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA). The nurse anesthesia concentration’s accreditation has been continued for 10 years, the maximum period allowed by the COA. The concentration’s next accreditation review will take place in spring 2024.
