Jamie McCune, vice president/market manager of Home Federal Bank in Harrogate, Tenn., has been selected by the Kentucky Bankers Association for its 2014 Emerging Leaders Program.
The Emerging Leaders Program is designed to develop the next generation of bank leaders in Kentucky through legislative education, leadership development, community outreach, and other necessary skills needed to become an effective leader in the industry.
Nine individuals are selected each year to represent their geographical region in the state. This select class of emerging leaders will be developing their skills through specific, comprehensive bank and community related activities.
“The Emerging Leaders program is our way of guiding the next generation of exceptional bankers into becoming exceptional leaders,” says Ballard Cassady Jr., president and CEO of the Kentucky Bankers Association.
“ This program is a stepping stone that these young bankers need to not only provide them with experience and engagement among their peers, but to involve them in the association by giving them a first-hand look at how we work together with our banks on a daily basis to ensure the success of our industry.”
