The monthly meeting of the Harrogate Garden Club was held at Servolution Health Services in Speedwell, Tenn. on Feb. 26
Servolution is a new organization which provides medical, dental and psychiatric services to the uninsured or under-insured.
Club members provided lunch for the volunteer work staff (approximately 20) and toured the facility including administrative areas, medical center, pharmacy, laboratory, dental center, thrift store, wellness center and food pantry.
The entire Servolution project was made possible from grants and generous donations of money, equipment and volunteer hours.
Garden Club business included the Arbor Day tree giveaway on March 7, the annual Special Clean-up of Our Place (SCOOPS) program on March 29 and a special project to provide a recycling bin for plastics at Forge Ridge Elementary School.
The club will meet next on March 26 at Mountain Hollow Farm for a program on cashmire goats.
