The Bell County Cooperative Extension Service along with Mainstreet Pineville will sponsor their annual Appalachian Craft Fair on Sept. 11 around the Bell County Courthouse in downtown Pineville.


Local crafters and entertainment will be on the square demonstrating their skills and talents. Come out to see the wood carvers, wood turners, knitting, crocheting, quilters, ceramics, drawing and much more.


A soup bean or hot dog dinner will be available for $6 and will include soup beans, cornbread, cole slaw, dessert and drink; or hot dog, cole slaw, dessert and drink.


Homemade candy, cookies, brownies, etc. will also be available.


The craft fair will begin at 10 a.m. and run through 4 p.m. As the craft fair ends, Mainstreet Pineville activities will begin.


If you are a local crafter and would like to participate, contact the Bell County Cooperative Extension Service at 606-337-2376. No fee is required to set up.
