A second individual was arrested on Friday in connection with a marijuana growing operation.
Christopher E. Collett, 22, of Middlesboro was arrested by Middlesboro Police Sgt. Joe Holder and charged with cultivating marijuana (five plants or more), possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Collett was allegedly growing marijuana on the front porch of a residence on Ellenwood Road. Originally, Angus Davis was arrested on the charge. Davis claimed the marijuana belonged to Collett.
According to the citation, officers were dispatched to the home on Ellenwood Road a week ago in reference to marijuana growing on the front porch. Upon arrival, officers observed a plant bowl sitting on the porch, which contained eight suspected marijuana plants.
Collett was released from custody on Saturday.
