Rose releasing studio cut of ‘The Coal Song’

Local America’s Got Talent (AGT) finalist Jimmy Rose is planning what he says may be his last CD sale.
It is scheduled for this Saturday at 10 a.m. at the place where it all first began — on the side of the road in the Big Blue parking lot.
Yard sellers and the like set up at Big Blue and have been doing so for a number of years.
It is the same place Rose began getting his music out to what soon became his loyal fans, the same place where Rose says he wants to do this sale.
“I wanted to do this the old way, right on the highway at Big Blue where it all started,” said Rose. “Big Blue is on the side of 25E between Middlesboro and Pineville, (you) can’t miss me if you come.”
The CDs are of homemade quality and feature five of Rose’s original songs. At $5 each, the sales have always been over quickly.
This sale will likely sell out because these CDs are different from the rest — they contain the studio cut of “Coal Keeps the Lights On.”
“This CD has new material on it, so if you have an old one, you may want this one (too),” said Rose.
