A Middlesboro man was arrested for allegedly breaking into a building and stealing a water heater.
Claude Elvis Dixon II, 18, was arrested by Officer Keith Lowe of the Middlesboro Police Department and charged with second-degree burglary.
The arrest citation states Dixon and a friend entered a dwelling on 45th Street and stole a hot water heater. The two were caught leaving the residence pushing a dolly down the road with a hot water heater on it.
Lowe said Dixon was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia for having a small baggie with a green leafy substance and white cigarette papers inside his pocket. He was also charged with third-degree unlawful transaction with a minor for having a minor with him when he allegedly entered the dwelling and stealing the water heater.
Dixon was lodged in the Bell County Detention Center.
Others arrested include:
* Tim Allen Lamb, 47, of Middlesboro, was arrested on charges of first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia, theft by unlawful taking (shoplifting), theft by deception under $500, public intoxication with a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance (second or greater offense);
* Darryl Edward Smith, 20, of Middlesboro, was arrested on a charge of violation of Kentucky EPO/DVO.
