The 11 individuals arrested during the Kentucky State Police Post 10 roundup in Bell County have been indicted by the Bell County Grand Jury. The roundup took place over a month ago and targeted 17 people.


Of the 17 that were targeted KSP was able to located and arrest 11 of them. The event stemmed from a 10-month investigation into the illegal sale of narcotics in two counties, Bell and Knox.


Charges from the roundup ranged from cocaine to prescription drug sales, according to KSP Public Affairs Officer Shane Jacobs. In addition to those arrested during the roundup, the grand jury also indicted five additional individuals on trafficking charges as well.


Those indicted and charges include:


• Charles Wayne Shelby, 66, of Middlesboro, two counts of second-degree trafficking a controlled substance and one count of first-degree trafficking a controlled substance;


• Jonathan J. Hill, 29, of Middlesboro, two counts of first-degree trafficking a controlled substance;


• Derrick L. Farrow, 25, of Middlesboro, first- and second-degree trafficking a controlled substance;


• Jazzata P. Brown, 24, of Middlesboro, two counts of first-degree trafficking a controlled substance;


• Jack B. Hurst, 53, of Middlesboro, three counts of second-degree trafficking a controlled substance;


• Richard Todd Neal, 38, of Middlesboro, two counts of second-degree trafficking a controlled substance, one count first-degree trafficking a controlled substance and for being a persistent felony offender;


• Ricky Dale Baker Jr., 27, of Ewing, Va., second-degree trafficking a controlled substance and for being a persistent felony offender;


• Brittany A. Nida, of Middlesboro, second-degree trafficking a controlled substance;


• Charles Odell Parker, 60, of Middlesboro, two counts of second-degree trafficking a controlled substance;


• Terry L. Farrow, 50, of Middlesboro, first-degree trafficking a controlled substance;


• Avery Shawn Howard, 33, of Middlesboro, second-degree trafficking a controlled substance;


• Timothy Holman, 49, of Arthur, Tenn., first-degree trafficking a controlled substance and third-degree possession of a controlled substance;


• James Anthony Lumpkin, 39, of Middlesboro, three counts of first-degree trafficking a controlled substance;


• Jimmy Lee Hamblin, 36, of Bardstown, first-degree trafficking a controlled substance;


• Ashley Brown, 24, of Middlesboro, first-degree trafficking a controlled substance;


• Alisha N. Martin, 19, of Middlesboro, second-degree trafficking a controlled substance.
