Bell County sheriff’s deputies arrested two men on Sunday after they allegedly found an active meth lab inside a residence on Houston Miracle Lane.
Wayne Eugene Touchton, 51, of Miracle, and Scott D. Bolf, 46, of Okeechobee, Fla., were charged with manufacturing methamphetamine.
According to the arrest citation, police received an anonymous tip stating methamphetamine was being manufactured at a residence at Houston Miracle Lane. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with Touchton, who stepped out of a building behind his residence.
Police report a white vapor was omitting from inside the premises. As the result of a search, Deputy Patrick Brooks located what he believed to be an active meth lab and several items included in the manufacturing of methamphetamine.
The citation states Bolf was located in the bushes in close proximity to the residence. He later admitted to be in the building.
Touchton and Bolf were both being held in the Bell County Detention Center. Arresting officers on the case include Brooks and Deputy Joel Quillen. They were assisted by Deputy Scott Gray.
