A Middlesboro woman was indicted on several forgery and theft charges recently by the Bell County Grand Jury.
Christy Danielle Saylor, 33, of Middlesboro, was indicted on 19 counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, 12 counts of theft by deception under $500 and one count of theft by deception over $500.
According to the indictment, Saylor passed several checks belonging to the account of Brenda Bullard. Of the 19 checks, 13 were passed at Walmart and the remaining six were passed at Kroger.
The indictment states checks passed at Walmart ranged from $17.05 to $903.45. At Kroger, the checks ranged from $31.76 to $173.38. Some of the checks Saylor attempted to pass were denied.
Middlesboro Police Officer Chuck Bruce is in charge of the investigation.
