A Middlesboro woman was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly possessing drugs in a cemetery.
Jonna Sue Miracle, 40, was charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to the citation, Middlesboro Police answered a complaint of possible drug use in Middlesboro Cemetery on Hurst Road. When Sgt. Edward Myers approached the vehicle, the occupants were making quick, erratic movements.
The citation states the driver, Miracle, had three syringes around her in the floorboard and seat. She also allegedly had a green soft drink cap with a partial pill in it which is believed to be Roxycodone.
Police did not find anything illegal on the passenger of the vehicle, according to the citation.
Miracle was lodged in the Bell County Detention Center. She was released from custody on Wednesday.
Other recent arrests include:
• Angela Lynn Napier, 40, of Fourmile, first-degree promoting contraband;
• William Eddie-Dewayne Muncy, 23, of Frakes, second-degree burglary, second- and fourth-degree assault, first-degree wanton endangerment and was served four warrants.
