Robert Cox and Elizabeth Cox, of Middlesboro, are pleased to announce the engagement of their only daughter, Teresa Marie, to Vitalino Domingo, son of Juan Daniel Domingo Lopez and Juana Izabel Castanon Lopez, of San Marcos, Guatemala. Teresa is a 2007 graduate of the J. Frank White Academy. She completed her bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University in 2011 and her master’s degree from the University of Louisville in 2013, both in Spanish. She is employed as a Hispanic student coordinator for the Fayette County Schools in Lexington. Vitalino came to this country as a student worker at age 16 and earned an associate of arts degree from Owensboro Community College and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Indiana Southern University in Evansville. He is currently employed by the state of Kentucky. A 2015 wedding is planned. The couple will make their home in the Lexington area.
