The Bell County 4-H Community Club met March 8 for the regular monthly meeting. The 4-H project for March was woodworking.

Stacy White, Bell County extension agent for agriculture and natural resources, instructed the club members in sanding, pre-drilling and assembling a wooden tool box, using wood screws.

Members were instructed to take their tool box home to stain or paint; then bring them back for the Bell County Fair. The tool box receiving a 4-H purple ribbon at the county fair will advance to the Kentucky State Fair in August.

The Bell County 4-H Community Club meets the second Saturday of each month. If you are interested in joining 4-H, contact the Bell County Extension Office at 337-2376.
