The Bell County Fair is scheduled Aug. 6-9 at the Bell County Fairgrounds in Fourmile. The fair exhibits will once again be sponsored by the Bell County Cooperative Extension Service and the Bell County Fair Board.


The Bell County Fair Board will be paying premium money for first, second and third place ribbons.


Below are the rules and divisions to enter items in for exhibit.


RULES

Open classes are open to all exhibitors.


1. All entries must be registered on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 8 a.m. to noon at the Bell County Fairgrounds at Fourmile. Registration will close promptly at noon.


2. Judging will be done between 1-3 p.m. on Aug. 6.


3. Exhibits will be on display Aug. 6, 7 and 8, 5-9 p.m.


4. Exhibits must be picked up on Aug. 9, between 8-9 a.m.


5. Fruits, vegetables, foods are to be entered on white Styrofoam plates. Be sure baked food is well cooled before wrapping with clear plastic wrap (gallon size storage bags work well). Canned foods are to be exhibited in standard canning jars.


6. In each class, first, second and third, or participation ribbons will be awarded. Premiums for first is $5, second is $3 and third is $2. Premiums are paid by the Bell County Fair Board.


7. A division grand champion and a reserve champion will be chosen out of class winners.


8. Labels will be provided at the time of registration.


9. Only one entry per person per division No.will be allowed.


10. Bell County Cooperative Extension Service is not responsible for lost or damaged items.
