Local bluegrass artists Dale Ann Bradley and Steve Gulley returned from a month of touring overseas to star in the Cumberland Mountain Music Show at Lincoln Memorial University Cumberland Gap Convention Center in Cumberland Gap, Tenn. this weekend.

In a move that brings her career “full circle,” Bradley says while she loved being on the tour, she is glad to be home performing for her family and friends.

“It was different but I loved it,” said Bradley. “There is something about just being home.”

In addition to the monthly concert series, the duo recently helped record a television special that will air on channel RFD on May 17. Gulley proudly said that every local musician that was on the stage performing Saturday night was part of the television special.

“I am so proud to say we took all of our people from the Tri-State area to Nashville,” explained Gulley.

The next show is scheduled for May 24 and tickets are $12. For more information or to reserve tickets contact Donna Sullivan at 606-269-3404 or dgs009@gmail.com.
