On Wednesday, the Bell County Volunteer Fire Department will host a hot dog fundraiser for baby Camdyn at Long’s Pic-Pac in Pineville beginning at 11 a.m. She was born on June 4 with a Congenital Heart Disease known as Heterotaxy Syndrome. This is a syndrome that causes a baby’s organs to form on the opposite side and the underformation of the heart.

The BCVFD will be selling hot dogs and soft drink for $2, along with some homemade goodies. There will also be raffle tickets for $1 a ticket for a chance to win a photo session. Hot dogs will start being served at 11 a.m.

Camdyn is hospitalized at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Tennessee, where she has been since birth with the exception of her first 14 days. She has to have three heart surgeries and has already underwent one.
