Kentucky State Police acted quickly Wednesday night to catch two people suspected of burglary.
According to a press release, on Wednesday at approximately 6:30 p.m., KSP Post 10 Harlan received a call of a burglary at a residence on Nealie Lane in Hinkle in Knox County.
Preliminary investigation indicates that someone entered the residence and stole money, jewelry and medication. Trooper Jake Wilson began an investigation at that time.
A short time later, at approximately 8 p.m., Wilson arrested Mark Tuttle, 24, of Heidrick and Rachel Johnson, 26, of Barbourville.
Both were charged with second-degree burglary and lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
The case is still under investigation by Wilson.
