Edith Blanche Williams, 87, of Middlesboro, passed away Sunday, October 6, at the Middlesboro ARH. She was born July 23, 1926 in Lee County, Virginia, the daughter of the late Edgar and Martha Vanbeber Littrell. She was a member of the Binghamtown Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Elmer Wiliams, Sisters: Clara Mae Chadwell and Ethel Watson, One Brother: Roy Littrell.
She is survived by the following members of her family:
Nephews: Johnny (Linda) Chadwell, David Richard (Pat) Chadwell, Eddie (Chris) Watson and Dennis Smith.
Nieces: Sheila (Mitchell) Ross, Marsha Bratton and Eleanor Bowden
Sister-in-law: Lillie Littrell
Special Friends: Harry Lee and Pauline Chadwell, Carolyn Gent, Judy Blondell, Joy Massengill and all of Edith’s Caregivers.
And a host of great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 10, at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. William Boyd Bingham presiding.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 11, at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Johnny Chadwell, David Chadwell, Jonathan Chadwell, Joey Chadwell, Greg Pendleton and John Sharpe. Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Watson, Alan Boone, Gene Blondell and Shird Hurst.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 10, at the Creech Funeral Home.
