Beulah “Polly” Holman, 87, of Cumberland Gap, TN, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at her home. She was born December 8, 1925 in Clairfield, TN, the daughter of the late Albert and Roxie Parrott Davis.
She was a member of the Old Yellow Creech Baptist Church # 2. Beulah loved the Lord, her Church and her Family and no matter the situation, she would tell you just how good the Lord had been to her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a 2 year old son, Randy Johnson.
She is survived by the following members of her family:
Children: Danny Carmack of Middlesboro; Carolyn Wagner of Arthur, TN; Lois (Roger) Gibbons of Harrogate, TN, Patsy (Jerry) Ausmus of Arthur, TN; Rondey Johnson of Tazewell, TN; Wanda Faye (Bob) Wells of Newport Beach, CA; Don Johnson of Arthur, TN and Timothy Holman of Arthur, TN.
Sisters: Pauline Maxwell of Urbana, OH and Betty May of Monroe, MI
Brother: J.B. Davis of Knoxville, TN
Special Friend and caregiver: Cathy Ausmus
14 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 12, at the Old Yellow Creek Baptist Church # 2, with the Rev. Ray Gulley, Rev. Bob White and her grandson Rev. Daniel Carmack presiding. Music will be provided by the Church Choir, Shirley Partin and Tona Turner. Interment will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens. Sons, Sons-in-law and grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
