Tourneys continue for 7-1 Lady Cats

Bell County junior guard Jess Sanders releases a floater in the lane during action against Whitley County earlier this season. Sanders scored 14 points in the Lady Cats’ 65-53 win over Clay County at the Lady Ads Christmas Tournament in Danville earlier this week. Bell County also got 22 points and 13 rebounds from Maci Morris, ten points from Katrina Johnson and nine points and nine rebounds from Morgan Garnett in the win. Now 7-1 on the year, the Lady Cats head to Greeneville, Tenn., for the Landair Ladies Classic where they’ll open against South Greene on Friday at 5:30 p.m. Bell County continues play in that tournament with games Saturday, Monday and Tuesday.
