The showcase is open to any high school seniors from the 2014 graduating class or any junior college student-athlete that is eligible to transfer to a four-year institution that remains unsigned. Designed to provide college exposure for those individuals, more than 125 college baseball programs are invited to attend this showcase annually.
The first seven showcases hosted at Lincoln Memorial have proved immensely successful as attendees have signed with LMU, Carson-Newman University, Tusculum College, Brevard College, King University and Mars Hill University among many others.
For $65 if paid in advance or $85 on the day of the event, each player will go through a “pro-style” workout with the opportunity to showcase their individual talents in front of a number of college scouts. The workout includes the 60-yard dash, defensive evaluations at your respective position and batting practice on Lamar Hennon, while pitchers will throw to live hitters.
The Unsigned Prospect Showcase is a rain or shine event set to start at 5 pm with registration beginning at 4 that afternoon.
