The Middlesboro McDonalds located on 12th Street has started remodeling.
According to store manager Russ Nierengarten, they are remodeling the entire exterior of the building. There will be a double drive-thru, new playground and bathrooms.
The interior will be re-vamped, along with more parking around the building.
Nierengarten adds, “we will still be open during normal business hours. If we have to close the lobby, the drive-thru will be still be open and vice versa.”
Nierengarten states that the construction will last eight weeks, according to their schedule.
