Herschel S. and Doris E. Walker, of Corbin, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday at the Hopewell Baptist Church Family Life Center in Corbin with family. The couple were married on March 16, 1963 by the Rev. Roscoe Douglas. Herschel is the pastor of Hopewell Baptist Church, located on American Greeting Card Road in Corbin. Doris is the church’s secretary. They have two daughters: Darla (Tony) Moses and Marla (Todd) Berry. They have four grandchildren: Andy (Cindy) Moses, Corey (Kayla) Moses, Megan Berry and Matthew Berry. They also have one great-grandchild, McKinley Moses.
