Chester Bailey, 42, appeared in Bell County Circuit Court where he pleaded guilty to marijuana cultivation (5 or more plants) and trafficking charges.
Bailey's court documents indicate that his indictments for marijuana cultivation and trafficking charges are were two separate incidents. However, the court ordered Bailey to serve the three year sentence, including 12 months in the Bell County Jail on all charges with the sentences running concurrently.
Bailey pleaded guilty to trafficking in marijuana (less than eight ounces), first offense, three counts of trafficking in a controlled substance (Carisoprodol, Diazepam, and Alprazolam ), third degree, first offense, and two counts of second degree trafficking in a controlled substance (Hydrocodone ), first offense.
In a separate case, another Arjay man was sentenced to serve four years and six months in prison for the theft of a controlled substance.
Ricky W. Mink, 35, was sentenced in court after he pleaded guilty to the Sept. 23 theft of RX Discount Pharmacy. According to court documents, Mink had stolen Xanax from the store last year.
Dana Joe Yeary, 37, of Middlesboro was sentenced to serve two years in prison and 12 months in the Bell County Jail, with such sentences running concurrently.
Yeary pleaded guilty to unlawful taking or disposition (under $300) for an incident that occurred Dec. 19 of 2003 in which she took merchandise from Rather-Bead-Dazzled.
She was also sentenced on possession charges including possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance (Oxycodone), second degree possession of a controlled substance (Hydrocodone), first degree possession of a controlled substance (Alprazolam), first offense.
Elijah Kade Morrison, 24, of Ingram, KY, was sentenced to serve three years in prison after pleading guilty to first degree possession of a controlled substance (Cocaine) and second degree possession of drug paraphernalia.
