Pineville Independent High School varsity girls’ basketball team met with Gov. Steve Beshear and state Rep. Rick Nelson on Jan. 24 at the state Capitol in Frankfort. The team is champion of the Region 13 All “A” Tournament.
The Middlesboro High School boys’ basketball team met with Gov. Steve Beshear and state Rep. Rick Nelson on Jan. 24 at the state Capitol in Frankfort. The Yellow Jackets are the champions of the 13th Region All “A” Tournament.
The Pineville Varsity cheerleaders met with state Rep. Rick Nelson in the Kentucky House chamber in the state Capitol on Jan. 23. The cheerleading squad is the winner of the 13th Regional KHSAA Class 1A Middle Category Championship held on Jan. 5. It advances to the state competition in Bowling Green in February. The squad also won First Runner Up in the All “A” Classic In-Game Competition in Frankfort.
