Bertie Catherine Sattefield Eldridge, age 78, formerly of Rose Hill. Virginia passed away Thursday (October 25, 2012) in Morristown, Tennessee.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Morgan M. Eldridge; daughter Betty E. Fee and JoAnn L. Muncy and one grandson, James Robert Johnson.

She is survived by Delphia A. Eldridge of Jonesville, Virginia, Coy W. Eldridge of Morristown, Tennessee, Jim Tom Eldridge of Morristown, Tennessee, Easter (Charles) Caldwell of Cumberland Gap, Tennessee, Penny (Ronnie) Miles of Duffield, Virginia, Sandy (Chuck ) Eldridge of Morristown, Tennessee.

Grandchildren: Lisa Fee Lloyd, Tracy Fee, Angela Brockwell, Aaron Eldridge, Alicia Eldridge, Hannah Cox, Isaiah Eldridge, Thomas Eldridge, James Todd Ellis, Ashley Ellis, Sarah Eldridge, Amanda Hoskins, Pam Lambert, Brittany Ellis, Dedra Lamarr, Monica Miles, Morgan Miles, Travis Eldridge, Amos Hall, Brandon Swanner.

Great Grandchildren: Jonathan Smith, Heather Hill, Jessica Hill, Tracy Fee Jr., Amber Fee, Emmalee Hall, Jake Hall, Abbigail Hall, Logan Taylor, Destiny Ellis, Jayden Ramos, Cristian Ramos, Julian Ramos, Emily Hoskins, Madison Whitman, Alex Whitman, Kaylee Green, Jacob Hall, Kayln Hall, Marley Swanner.

A very special niece that helped care for her, Edith Russell.

Visitation will be from 6 pm – 8 pm, Sunday, (October 28 2012) at the Arney-Mullins Funeral Home, Rose Hill, Virginia.

Funeral Service will be Monday (October 29, 2012) at 11:00 in the Arney-Mullins Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Charles Long officiating.

Burial will follow in the Brooks Cemetery, Ewing, Virginia.

Pallbearers will be: Todd Fairbanks, Josh Hoskins, Tim Lambert, Mike Cunningham, Jacob Satterfield and Mike Dockery.

Arney-Mullins Funeral Home, Rose Hill, Virginia is in charge of the arrangements.
