Beulah Dixon Cobb, 72, of Frakes, KY, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 24, at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was born September 15, 1940 at Frakes, KY, the daughter of the late John and Clara Dixon. She was a believer in the Baptist Faith and was a full time homemaker and loving mother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Kizzie Reeves, Willie Powers and Jessie Hurst; 3 brothers: J.D., Claude and Paul Dixon.
She is survived by the following members of her family: 2 daughters: Melissa Ann (Bobby) Hurst and Tammy Cobb both of Frakes, KY; a granddaughter who was the light of her life: Kody Ann Hurst; a sister: Barbara (Floyd) Partin of Frakes, KY; 2 brothers: Jack Dixon of Seymour, IN and Clyde Dixon of Barbourville, KY; along with a host of nieces and nephews who always affectionately referred to her as Boo Boo.
She also leaves behind many friends from the Henderson Settlement Senior Citizens Center and New Horizons Adult Day Care.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, at the Creech Funeral Home.
At her request, she will be cremated by the Creech Funeral Home following the visitation.
