David Wayne Allen, age 52 of New Market, Ala., passed away Sunday, Sept. 23, at his home.

He was born March 6, 1960, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and was the son of the late William Allen and Berta Robbins Allen Olear who survives.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by an infant son, David Wayne Allen.

He is survived by the following members of his family: his wife, Kay Barnett Allen; mother, Berta Olear; two sons, Adam Allen and Casey Allen; grandchildren, Caleb Nolan, Katlin Nolan and Ayden Allen; two brothers, Gary Allen and Kevin Olear; three sisters, Teresa Barnett, Rita Olear and Marian Bailey; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will follow in the Good Cemetery at Hutch.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Creech Funeral Home.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Creech Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
