David Earl Allen, age 60, of Morristown, Tenn., passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville. He was preceded in death by parents, William and Bessie Allen; father and mother-in-law, Harvey and Velma Bunch; and friend, Donnie Walston.

He is survived by wife, Vickey Allen; son, David (Sarah) Allen Jr.; daughter, VaGloria (Brian) Arvin; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Hailey, and Baileigh Allen and Janlynn Arvin; brothers, Arnold (Linda) Allen of Middlesboro, KY., Bill (Rickie) Allen of Talbott, Larry (Jeanie) Allen of Hulen, KY; sisters, Sue Sparks, Barbara Green, and Margie Barnwell all of Middlesboro, KY; Numerous nieces and nephews and special friends, Billy Davis and June Jones. Special recognition to second floor CV ICU unit at UT and nurses Vicki and Liz.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. prior to the services at the chapel. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
