Eva Hurst, 87, of Tazewell, TN, and formerly of Bell County, passed away Sunday January 6, 2013 at her home with her daughter Alice and her granddaughters by her side.

She was born May 23, 1925 in Hutch, KY, the daughter of the late Wheeler and Hattie Wright Hurst. She was a believer in the Baptist Faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Condy Hurst; infant children, Davy and Otella; daughter: Barbara Parks; sisters: Ora Smith and Ruby Hurst; 1 Brother: Otis Hurst.

She is survived by the following members of her family: daughters: Alice Ingram and Carol (John) Ball; sister: Irene Crutchfield; son-in-law: Robert Parks; grandchildren: Russell (Deena) Ingram, Shelia (James) Burnett, Donna (Tim) Widner, Joyce (Jeff) Fuson, Kim Seals, Greg (Tina) Ball and Junior (Stephanie) Parks; and a host of great grandchildren and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, at the Hurst Cemetery at Hutch, KY.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, at the Creech Funeral Home.
