The Bell County Forestry Camp celebrated its 50th anniversary on Wednesday. Several special guests spoke at the occasion, including deputy commissioner Jim Erwin, Bell County Judge-Executive Albey Brock and state Rep. Rick Nelson.
Bell County Forestry Camp Warden Kathy Litteral gives opening remarks during the anniversary celebration. The forestry camp began as a joint venture with the state Department of Corrections and the Division of Forestry in an effort to benefit both agencies and their endeavors.
