Fred P. Miracle Jr., age 74 of Miracle, passed away Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012, at his home.

He was born March 17, 1938, in Pineville, and the son of the late Fred P. Miracle Sr. and Eller Miracle. He was retired from General Motors.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Houston, Ewell, J.C. and Leeman; and two sisters, Annette and Lucille.

He is survived by the following members of his family: seven children, Gary Miracle, Deborah Miracle, Billy Miracle, Myra Miracle, Steven Miracle, Rodney Miracle and Tracy Garcia; one brother, Ira Lee Miracle; five sisters, Elsie Miracle, Dolly Jean Gibbons, Wanda Jackson, Estella Miracle and Trudie Miracle; and a host of step-brothers and step-sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Miracle and Rev. Robert Miracle presiding. Music will be provided by the Oakdale Singers.

Graveside services will be held at noon Thursday, Sept. 6, at the Joe Wilder Cemetery at Miracle. Family members will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, at the Creech Funeral Home.
