Born August 31, 1962, in Chicago, Ill., he was the son of the late Jack Henry and Laura Jackson Henry. He had worked as a coal miner.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Terri Lee Ann Henry; and a brother, Terry Wade Henry.
Survivors include his daughter, Jessica (Ron) Hicks of South Carolina; grandaughters, Riley & Isabella Hicks of South Carolina; sisters, Jackie (Michael) McGeorge of Pineville, and Judy (Alan) Kidwell of Pineville; brother, Bill Henry of Anderson, S.C.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Jackson Cemetery on Laurel Hill with the Rev. Hubert Baker presiding. Pallbearers will be his nephews.
There will be no visitation.
Creech Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
