Hugh Gordon, 89 of Middlesboro, passed away Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at his home.

He was born Dec. 18, 1922, in Bell County, and was the son of the late James “Neal” and Corrie Belle Turner Gordon. He believed in the Holiness faith.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife: Evelyn Gordon; brother: Junior Harry Gordon.

Survivors include: two daughters: Katherine (George) Rogers and Wilma (Charlie) Potterl three sons: Roger (Sue) Gordon, David (Janice) Gordon and Jimmy (P.J.) Gordon; sister: Effie Green; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Boyd Gray presiding. Music will be by Alva Cunningham.

Interment will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Creech Funeral Home.
