James ‘Bo Bo’ Collins, age 68, of Fourmile, KY, passed away on Monday December 24, 2012 at his home. He was born March 5, 1944 in Bell County, the son of the late Jim and Ethel Collins. He had been a retired coal miner.

In addition to his parents, he was precede in death by a son, Eddie Collins; grandson, Tyler Hensley; brothers, Tommy, Paul and Vernon Collins.

He is survived by his loving wife and soul mate of 44 years, Myrtle Lingar Collins of Fourmile, KY; daughter, Barbara and Farrlin Smith of Corbin, KY; sons, James and Michelle Collins and Terry and Deanna Collins all of Fourmile, KY; a grandson he raised like a son, Timmy (Jessica) Bays; grandchildren, Jamie, Brittany, Katherine, Caitlyn, Terri Lynn, Shelby Collins, Savannah Smith, Dylan and Dakota Collins; two step-grandchildren, Renee Hall and JP Smith; five great-grandchildren, James ,Nathan Collins, Tripp Bays, Hailie and Aiden Hensley; two step-grandchildren, Robbie and Ferrlin Hall; brothers Elmer, Sylvester and Mac Collins of Louisville, KY; sisters, Katherine Gibson and Gertie West of Pineville, KY Lois Smith, Bessie Dewitt, Judy Satler and Shirley Christmas all of Louisville, KY; aunts, Dorothy Baker, Betty Webb and Alta Mason; best friends son-in-law, Farrlin Smith, Tim Gregory, Ulis Lingar, Lewis Lingar, Lawrence Lingar and George Lewis; a host of family, friends. He was loved by all that met him and will be missed by those who knew him.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday December 28, 2012 at the Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Dunn, Rev. Arthur Jackson and Rev. Paul Gibson.. Pallbearers will be Timmy Bays, Ulis Ray Lingar, Darrell and Kenny West, Robert Daniels, Stephen and Jake Griffin. Honorary Pallbearers will be James Collins, Terry Collins, Farrlin Smith and Dr. Stephen Morgan.

Music will be provided by Angie Lingar and George Simpson. Burial will be in the Pine Lawn Memorial Garden Cemetery, East Pineville, KY. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 10 p.m. Thursday December 27, 2012 at the Brooks-Durham Funeral Home, Pineville, KY.
