Jamie Pursifull (left), a 2009 graduate from Middlesboro High School, served as an intern in Congressman Hal Rogers’ office for a duration of five weeks this summer. Jamie will be a senior at Georgetown College this fall and plans to attend graduate school after her undergraduate degrees are completed.
“It was such a blessing to be able to work with my congressman in DC,” said Pursifull. “I had the opportunity to learn about the inner workings of government first-hand and it was truly an amazing experience. I will forever remember my time in DC.”
