P’ville man served sexual abuse warrant

A Pineville man is behind bars after being served a warrant for a sexual abuse charge. William James Saylor, 56, was arrested on July 20. Saylor allegedly sexual abused a juvenile.

Saylor was arrested by deputy James Taulbee of the Bell County Sheriff’s Department. Information on the specifics of the alleged crime were unavailable. Saylor is currently being held in the Bell County Detention Center on a $100,000 cash bond.

He is scheduled to be in court on July 31.

In other police news:

* Kevin Wilburn Partin, 26, of Pineville, was arrested by Pineville Police Department officer Kyle Dunn on a charge of first-degree assault.

* Linda S. Graster, 37, of Middlesboro, was arrested by Middlesboro Police Department officer Kenny Vanover on a charge of second-degree trafficking a controlled substance.

* JD Barnes, 58, of Middlesboro, was arrested by Middlesboro Police Department officer Joe Holder on two counts of second-degree trafficking a controlled substance. He was also served with a bench warrant.

An arrest is an accusation only. Those arrested are to be considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
