Phyllis Marie Woods Lee, 74, of Bargersville, Indiana passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012 peacefully at home. She was born October 29, 1938 in Pineville, Kentucky as the daughter of Tolbert Dewey Woods and Audrey Marie (Lambert) Woods. Phyllis was married to JoJo Lee for 58 years and lovingly raised their three children, Aurora Marie Lee, Ricky JoJo Lee, and Sabrina Anne Lee; grandchildren Britney, Jeanine, Chad, and Brandon; great-grandchildren Vincent, Tristan, Brooks, Danny, and Piper; and a brother, Larry Woods.
She was preceded in death by a brother Kenneth Woods. She was a retired nurse and an avid gardener. The family would like to thank Pastor Brett Baird and St. Francis Home Health Hospice, and would also like to share Phyllis’s favorite scripture, Psalm 37.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at Swartz Family Community Mortuary And Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, Indiana. A private family burial will be in Oddfellow Cemetery near Banta, Indiana.
