Cumberland Gap’s Danielle Caldwell and Lakeisha Beverly try to run down a Lady Bulldog ball carrier. The Lady Panthers won the game 14-0, but the most important thing was seeing the rival schools come together for a good cause.
Junior and senior girls from Cumberland Gap and Claiborne high schools recently got together to play a powder puff football game to raise money for teens Jared and Jordyn Parker. The Parkers were seriously injured in a car accident over the summer and the game raised over $800 to help with their medical expenses.
