Rev. Eldin Hurst, 81, of Clairfield, TN, passed away Monday, January 28, at the Jellico Community Hospital. He was born May 26, 1931 at Pruden, TN, the son of the late Arthur and Josie Rose Hurst. He was elected Pastor of the Tracy Branch Missionary Baptist Church in 1971 and served there until his death. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: 2 brothers: Edward and Elmer; 2 sisters: Matilda and Haley.

He is survived by the following members of his family: wife: Juanita Hurst; sisters: Lois Partin and Louise Clark; and a host of nieces and nephews and his Tracy Branch Church Family.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 31, at the Tracy Branch Missionary Baptist Church.

Graveside services will immediately follow the visitation at the Hurst-Partin Cemetery at Clairfield, TN
