Ruby Bryant, age 85 of Gray, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, after a long illness.

She was born in Bell County on July 19, 1927, and was the daughter of the late Richard and Lucy Brummett.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Bryant; her two sons, Marion and Wade Bryant; grandson, Paul Edward Bryant; and brothers, Randal, George and Donnie Brummett.

Survivors include four grandchildren, Steve, Justin and Michael Bryant and Tracy Gent; brothers, Slusher, Jerry and Werner Brummett; sisters, Shirley Ballou, Libby Cox and Brenda S. Davis; a special great-grandson, Daniel Bryant; great-grandchildren, Paul and Jacson Bryant and Myra and Megan Gent; and a host of special relatives and friends too numerous to list.

Services will be today at 11 a.m. at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with the Rev. Boyd Bingham presiding.

Burial will be in the Brummett Cemetery at Sims Fork, Arjay. Pallbearers will be Konomos and Bobby Brummett, Michael Bryant, Justin Bryant, Steve Bryant and Tim Gent.
