Self-esteem summit for women set for Saturday.

The Bell County Peace in Kentucky Homes Network and The Family Life Abuse Center will host the the 4th Annual I Am Woman: Self-Esteem Summit on Saturday.

A fun-filled, educational self-esteem summit, the event will feature a day of workshops of interest to women. The conference will held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, which is located at 507 Kentucky Avenue in Pineville.

The day will begin with registration and welcome by Bell County Peace In Kentucky Homes Network members. Immediately after registration, participants will break into individual workshops. Each workshop will consist of a 55 minute session. At 12:15 p.m., everyone will come together as a group for a catered lunch provided at no cost to participants.

Immediately following lunch, a “Beautiful You” workshop will be held for all participants. This session includes a free makeover with beauty consultants followed by glamour shot photography. All participants will receive a free 5X7 portrait.

This event is open to all women and girls of Bell County over age 13. There is no cost to attend, but pre-registration is required. All pre-registered participants will receive a free tote bag filled with cosmetic goodies and will be entered to win door prizes.
