Sue Francis Aslinger, age 78 of Pineville, passed away Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at her home.

She was born Aug. 24, 1934, in Kettle Island, and was the daughter of the late Gillis and America Neal Hoskins. She was a member of the Old Straight Creek Trinity Tabernacle.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Aslinger; one son, Michael Hillman; and one brother, Ralph Hoskins.

She is survived by the following members of her family: son, Charles and wife Ruth Hillman of Stoney Fork; daughter, Marsha and husband Joe Stewart of Arjay; brothers, Hobart and wife Hazel Hoskins of Kettle Island, and Jackie and wife Rose Hoskins of Pineville; five grandchildren, Joel Stewart, Charlisa Partin, Melissa Bingham, Aaron Hillman and Heather Lee; ten great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Hoskins Family Cemetery at Kettle Island with the Rev. Bobby Grubbs presiding. Pallbearers will be her nephews, William Hobart Hoskins, Jackie Gillis Hoskins, Charles and Jeff Tolliver and the men of the Old Straight Creek Trinity Tabernacle.

There will be no visitation.
