Wayne Junior Minor, age 74, Middlesboro, KY, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Wayne was born in Bell County, the son of the late Charlie and Mary Rains Minor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian England Minor; his grandson, Shannon Minor; sister, Lorene Smith and brother, Charles Minor. He had been a mill worker and coal miner.

Survivors include his son, Jeffery Minor and wife, Judy Robbins Minor, of Knoxville, TN; his grandchildren: Becky Minor, Axel Minor and Samantha Minor, all of Knoxville, TN; his great-grandchildren: Jaci Smith and Jazzlee Minor of Knoxville, TN; his brothers: Calvin Minor and his wife, Claudette, Jerry Minor, and Claude Minor, all of Middlesboro, KY; his sisters: Bonnie Cody and husband, Don, of Middlesboro, KY; Carolyn Billingsly and her husband, Jim, of Harrogate, TN, and Cecile Parker and her husband, Otis, of Speedwell, TN. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was loved by all.

Funeral service was held at 8 p.m., Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Murphy Buell and Rev. Ryan Bailey presiding. Special music was provided by the Hensley Chapel Baptist Church Choir and Tiwani Grimm. Family and friends served as pallbearers. Graveside service was held at 11 a.m., Monday, January 21, 2013 at Green Hills Memorial Gardens. The family received friends 6-8 p.m., Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel.
