5-year-old injured in accident

A 5-year-old girl was airlifted to University of Kentucky Medical Center on Wednesday following a single-car accident in Frakes. Kristen Cobb was a passenger in a golden 1995 Toyota 4-Runner when the driver of the vehicle, her mother, Latrisha Cobb, 31, lost control of the vehicle and it rolled down a hill.

Latrisha Cobb and Ashely Cobb, 7, were both transported to Pineville Community Hospital were they were treated and released. Members of the Bell County Fire Department, Frakes Fire Department, Middlesboro Rescue Squad and Bell County Rescue Squad responded to the accident. Bell County Sheriff's Deputy David Cornelius is in charge of the investigation.
