Malinda Rhymer Barnett, 65, of Middlesboro, went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Monday January 14, at the Middlesboro ARH.
She was born January 5, 1948 at Miracle, KY, the daughter of the late Rudolph and Lemodee Miracle Rhymer, she was also preceded in death by: mother in law and father in law: Dora and Walter Barnett, a sister: Mary Ellen Rhymer, aunts: Cynthia, Marie and Geraldine Rhymer, uncles: Bennie, Woodrow and Leland Cupp, special niece: Loretta Hatfield and Jodi Mullins.
She is survived by the following members of her family: special husband of 9 years: James E. Barnett; special daughter: (Dee Dee) Lemodee and (Spud) Heck of Middlesboro; grandchildren: Tommy Lee Shepherd, Andrea Hunter and Cathy Gilbert of Middlesboro; 2 great grandchildren: Shelby Mae and Willow Elliott of Middlesboro; special sisters: Cathy and James Shackleford of Michigan, Norma and Charles Hunley of Gray, KY; special sisters-in-law: Betty Mullins and Rosetta (Bill) Ogle of Middlesboro; nieces and nephews: Sarah, Tony and Missy Hunley, Mary Tettenhorst and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 17, at the Trinity Full Gospel Worship Center with Rev. Jeff Kersey and Mr. James Strunk presiding. Music will be provided by Kathy Cody, James and Teresa Strunk, Lisa Kersey and Wilburn Smith. Interment will follow in the Cubbage Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tommy Shepherd, Justin Gregory, Jimmy Heck, Tommy Hunley, Eddie Harrell, Jerry Mullins, Jimmy Mullins and Lance Heck.
